OFFICE FOR THE AGING TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING
On Monday, October 19th, the Delaware County Office for the Aging (OFA) will be conducting
its annual public hearing. The event will take place at the Delhi Senior Meals Dining Center,
97 Main Street, Delhi, and will begin at 9:00am. *Please note this location is a change from
what was posted in Office for the Aging’s newsletter “The Dispatch.”
Light pastries and beverages will be provided. At the annual public hearing, staff members from
OFA will discuss their service plans for seniors for the upcoming year and encourage input from
the seniors regarding future planning. The hearing will be open to seniors, community leaders
and the public. If you are unable to attend but would like to comment on services that the
Delaware County Office for the Aging provides or services we are lacking, please send all
comments to Delaware County Office for the Aging, 97 Main St., Suite #2, Delhi, NY 13753, or
call our office at 607-832-5750 and ask to speak with the director.
The Delaware County Office for the Aging is funded under Title III of the Older Americans Act
through the Federal Administration on Aging with additional funding from the New York State
Office for the Aging, Delaware County Government, and contributions from participants and
local charitable organizations.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 104 of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York, that the County of Delaware will accept sealed proposals for the following items by the said County of Delaware:
PROPOSAL NO. 22-26 REPAIR OF BR 95
Proposals shall be submitted on bid forms which are available for inspection and obtainable at the Office of the County Commissioner of Public Works, 2 Bridge Street, Delhi, New York 13753. Forms can be obtained electronically by e-mailing a request to meta.russell@delcony.gov. Detailed specifications are contained in the said forms.
Proposals must be filed with James D. Thomas, Delaware County Commissioner of Public Works, 2 Bridge Street, Delhi, New York, 13753 on or before 1:00 P.M. Prevailing Time, Tuesday October 20, 2026 in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
The Delaware County Department of Public Works, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 US. C.§§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
The successful bidder will be promptly notified and must be prepared to enter into a contract for the purchase and sale of the said item(s) or services in conformity with the information in the proposal.
The County of Delaware reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted.
