The Hancock Community Education Foundation is looking for a passionate professional to be the Nature Center Manager for the Robert W. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT a public hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Hancock will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at the Village Clerk's Office, 85 East Front Street, Hancock, NY to consider the application of an area variance by Wanda Raksyk located at 171 West Main Street. The application is open to the public at the Village Clerk's Office. Persons wishing to appear at the hearing may do so in person or by other representation. VILLAGE OF HANCOCK NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL - NOTICE OF MEETING OF BOARD OF ASSESSMENT

REVIEW AND HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned Assessor of the Village of Hancock has completed the tentative assessment

of the Village of Hancock for the 2019-2020 tax year and that a copy thereof has been left with the Village Clerk of the Village of Hancock, 85 East Front Street, Hancock, NY 13783, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until February 19, 2019. On February 19, 2019, the Village of Hancock Board of Assessment Review will meet at the Hancock Village Hall, 85 East Front Street, Hancock, NY 13783 between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to hear complaints in relation to assessments. All changes in the tentative assessment roll made as a result of said Board of Assessment Review hearing of such complaints will be entered on such roll on or before the date when the final assessment roll is to be completed.

NOTICE OF ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Hancock Rural Fire Commissioners will take place on Tuesday February 12, 2019 at the Hancock Fireman's Clubhouse located at Fireman's Park. For the purpose of electing commissioner of a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2020. The position is currently held by Commissioner Steve Dufton. Candidates for District Office of Commissioner must file a letter of intent with the Secretary of the Fire District at the address below. Every voter of the Hancock Rural Fire Commissioners who is registered with the Delaware County Board of elections and who has resided in the district for the period of thirty days preceding the election of the fire district officers shall be qualified to vote for such officers.
