Last Pancake Breakfast Set In Pine
December 1st, the
Sunday after Thanksgiving, heralds the last Pancake Breakfast of the season
at Pine Mill Community Hall. Called the Hunters' Breakfast, it's our way of
fortifying our hunters before the arduous efforts of deer season in
Pennsylvania begin in earnest on Monday, Dec. 2.
Hunters who are resting up from the new opening day, Saturday, Nov. 30,
will be ready for breakfast with friends and family. The menu includes
cheddar cheese omelets or eggs the way you like them, plain or blueberry
pancakes, sausage, home fries, apple sauce, and coffee or tea.
Adults: $9.00; child's half portion, from twelve down to 4 years, $4.00;
infants under 4, free. Serving from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30. The hall is located
at 919 Pine Mill Rd. near Lookout. Pine Mill runs from Rte. 371 in
Rileyville, north to the center of Equinunk, PA.
The hall is approximately half way between those two points. Call

Christmas Cantata Set At
Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 2 p.m., the Thompson United Methodist
Church will present their annual Christmas Cantata with the hope of
sharing peace and good will to all during the Christmas season.
A Savior" will be directed by Brenda Potter-Tiffany, and Jeffrey
Keyes will be the piano accompanist for the choir. The choir
consists of voices from various churches within the surrounding
