Half-Time RN Positions

The Arc of Delaware County is expanding its nursingstaff and is seeking two half-time RN’s. Benefitted positions; one is a set Mon.-Fri., (apx.) 10 am-2 pm schedule, while the other can be flexible based on program needs with hours totaling 20 (ie five 4 hour days, or two 8 hour days & one 4 hour day); the flexible position requires some local travel between Arc programs

(i.e. Arkville, Hamden, and Walton). Train and advise staff in health related areas, oversee administration of medications, maintain and update health records, and interpret medical reports, all in a positive, caring atmosphere. Must possess NYS RN license, and valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; experience with people with disabilities preferred but not required.

TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Village Board of the Village of Hancock on March 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hancock Village Hall, 85 East Front Street, Hancock, NY 13783 regarding the proposed 2014-2015 water/sewer rates.

In accordance with section 15-105, subdivision 3(b) and 4 of the Village Election Law and ON MOTION of Trustee Dawn Gotthardt, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted:

1. That the polling place of the Village Election, March 18, 2014 shall be at the Village of Hancock Municipal Building, 85 East Front Street.

2. That the hours during which the polls shall be open are from noon until 9:00 PM.

3. That the names and addresses of those who have been duly nominated for Village Office and whose Certificate of Petition of Nomination has been duly filed with the Village Clerk, and the office and terms of such office for which they have been so nominated are as follows:

William J. Schoonmaker, Hancock – Trustee – 2 years

4. That the Village Clerk is directed to publish a copy of this

Resolution in the official paper and post a copy of the Notice in at least six conspicuous public places within the Village at least one day before the Village Elections and such notice shall be posted at each polling place.
