On February 14, the world lost a great and good man
- John Stoddart, my beloved husband and soul mate.
He was a man of vision and wide-ranging interests,
and he is missed by everyone who knew him.
I would like to thank the Henderson-Biedekapp
Funeral Chapel for their caring professionalism, the
ladies at Curves for their generosity and kindness,
the girls at Lydia’s for their sense of humor in
gift-giving, Lori of Lori’s Landscape and Perennials
for her beautiful daisy and rose spray, Sally Zegers
for her insightful tribute to my husband, the entire
village for gifts of flowers, cards, fruit and food,
the Catholic Daughters for their lovely luncheon,
Father Chris for his thoughtful homily and beautiful
Mass and all the people who attended the calling
hours and the funeral despite the terrible weather.
Special thanks go to Alice Hartz, Barbara and Ed
Juba, Shirley Wright, Rhonda Charles and her
Richard, Mardy Conklin, Kurt Niles, Yvonne Brush,
Gudrun Feigl and family, Kristin Blum and her son
Per, Jim and Tom Homer, Tony and Theresa Perniciaro,
the entire Marino family and my wonderful neighbors
Jenneen Schoonmaker and family, the Jamie and
Heather Schoonmaker family, Scott Wahl and his Carol
without whose help and support I could not have
gotten this far.
With Love and Gratitude, Erika Stoddart |
