Wayne Historians Plan DAR Exhibit |
A 2013 exhibit is planned to open on April 20th at the Wayne County Historical Society’s Main Street, Honesdale, PA museum to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Wayne-Pike Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. If you or a woman in your family was a member of this chapter and you have photographs, three dimensional objects, or documents which would help tell this one hundred year story, please contact Sally Talaga at sltalaga@gmail.com or leave a message at 570 253-3240.
Oneonta – The Midstate Arms Collectors will hold a gun and knife show on Sunday, March 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, Route 23, Southside, Oneonta.
Sixty dealers will be showing arms and military souvenirs from before the Revolutionary War to the present. You may bring old guns, swords and military items. which you no longer want with cash prices paid. Dealers will also be selling and trading. Please remember NYS law now requires a NICS background check and dealers will be available at this site for such admission.
