Thompson Church Plans Dinners
The last Saturday of each month through March, the Thompson church will be hosting a dinner -chicken and biscuit buffet style dinner in January and February and in March a spaghetti dinner to benefit the Sunday school program Saturday, January 26, will begin the winter schedule for the Thompson Church.
Dinners will be available at 4PM to 6:30PM, take -outs will also be available.
Pinochle Party Planned In Hancock
Hancock’s Senior Citizens are extending an invitation to any and all pinochle players February 1 at 11:15 a.m. at the Hancock American Legion Hall.. Come join us for a free lunch followed by a set of pinochle games.
This is an opportunity for an enjoyable afternoon of meeting other pinochle enthusiasts from the area.
Lunch will be served 11:15 – 12:00, door prizes and then cards. The luncheon is assorted, sandwiches followed by cakes, hot beverages as well. RSVP.

Rotary Plans Spaghetti Supper
The Hancock Rotary Club will present its “Super Spaghetti Supper”, at the Emory United Methodist Church, East Main Street, Hancock, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm, on Thursday, February 7.
Adult tickets are $8.00 and children under 12 are $4.00. Take-outs will be available.
Tickets may be purchased from any Hancock Rotarian or at the door.
Attention: Historical Association Members
There will be an important meeting on February 6 at the building at 7 p.m.
Most important will be the insurance question. It costs us over $1,300 a year, which we cannot afford. We do not take in enough money to cover that.
