The Preston Township Board of Supervisors 1515 Crosstown Highway, Lakewood, PA will hold their 2014 organizational meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6 at the Township Municipal Building as required by law. The January Supervisors Board meeting will be held immediately following the organizational meeting. There will be no first Thursday meeting in January.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Hancock Rural Fire Commissioners will take place on Tuesday Jan 7th 2014 between the hours of 7:00 pm & 9:00 pm at the Hancock Fireman’s Clubhouse located at Fireman’s Park for the purpose of electing a commissioners of a five (5) year term, currently held by commissioner Randy Whiting commencing January 1, 2014 and ending December 31, 2019. In addition electing commissioners of a one (1) year term for the replacement of Rolland Bojo Sr who has resigned and to fulfil the remainder of his term January 1, 2014 and ending December 31, 2014. CERTIFYING ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW

Notice of Intent to Request a Release of Funds
The County of Delaware gives notice that it will submit a request for release of grant funds and an environmental certification pertaining thereto to the Office of Community Renewal (OCR) on or about January 3, 2014. Comments on the environmental review will be received at the address above until January 2, 2014. The request and certification relate to the following program.
Program Title: Data Control Group, LLC
Location: Bard-Parker Road, Hancock, Delaware County, New York
Purpose of Project: Data Control Group, LLC ("DCG") will undertake a project to renovate a portion of the vacant, former Becton Dickinson manufacturing facility located on Bard-Parker Road in the Town of Hancock. Phase one of this project will allow for DCG to retro-fit a portion of the building for the development of a call center operation. The financial assistance provided through the grant awarded to the County of Delaware will be used to offset $600,000 of DCG’s expenditures for the acquisition of furniture, fixtures and equipment, workforce development and working capital costs.
Estimated Cost: $2,810,000
County of Delaware will undertake the program described above with New York State Community Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. County of Delaware is certifying to OCR that the County of Delaware and Glenn Nealis in his official capacity as Certifying Officer consent to accept the jurisdiction of the Federal courts if an action is brought to enforce responsibilities in relation to environmental reviews, decision-making, and action; and that these responsibilities have been satisfied. The legal effect of the certification is that upon OCR’s approval, funds may be used for this program, and HUD will have satisfied its responsibilities under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and other related laws and authorities. OCR will accept an objection to its approval of the release of funds and acceptance of the certification only if it is on one of the following bases:
a) that the certification was not in fact executed by the chief executive officer or other officer of applicant approved by HUD; or
b) that applicant’s environmental review to the RROF for the project omitted a required decision, finding, or step applicable to the project in the Environmental Review Process; or
c) other specific grounds found in HUD regulations at 24 CFR 58.75.
