PAULA RUBERA and her family would like to thank all
of those on the Rescue Squad who responded at the time of
her accident.
Also, to Jim McGraw for getting there so quickly and keeping
her calm until the Rescue Squad arrived. A very special
thank you goes out to Brad Esolen. His wonderful personality
and comforting words made her pain much easier to deal with.
I don’t think the people of Hancock realize how lucky we
truly are to have the people we do on the Rescue Squad.
WE SINCERELY THANK the many merchants in Hancock who
donated to help with our benefit held on June 20. Also,
thanks to the people who attended the event in spite of the
rain.

I saw two clouds at morning, tinged by the rising sun. And
in the dawn they floated on, And mingled into one; I thought
that morning cloud was blest, It moved so sweetly to the
west. I saw two summer currents Flow smoothly to their
meeting, And join their course with silent force, In peace
each other greeting; Calm was their course through banks of
green, While dimpling eddies played between. Such be your
gentle motion, Till life’s last pulse shall beat; Like
summer’s beam, and summer’s stream, Float on, in joy, to
meet A calmer sea, where storms shall cease- A purer sky,
where all is peace. John G.C. Brainard We love you and miss
you very much. We find solace in the fact that you are
together in each other’s arms again.
Your children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
